Bio

HOLLY. I love the natural world, the simple life, cooking, making music and art, growing things. I’ve spent time traveling and learning from organic farms around the world, and in this region. I’ve also spent the last several years endeavoring into the world of urban farming here in Urbana with permaculture gardening, backyard chickens, rainwater collection, and making compost. My love for learning how to work with the Earth runs deep, I find great purpose in connecting people with what I learn. You can find me most days harvesting large amounts of locally grown flowers at Delight, or cooking large amounts of locally grown food at The Red Herring. I teach kombucha home brewing classes, vegan cooking classes, & floral crafting and design classes all around town. I’m thrilled to be joining Delight Flower Farm for the 5th season this year!
