Natural Medicine : a farmstead retreat

We, at Delight Flower Farm, know that connecting with and learning from nature can replenish the mind, body, and spirit.  Spend a day relaxing on our pastoral farm setting. Integrate the wonders of the natural world into your life.  

Events will include: yoga, a plant walk, a farm tour, flower arranging, an herbalism class, an introduction to Ayurveda, campfire rituals, and plenty of time to take in the healing properties of nature.  Local-farm-sourced and professionally prepared meals are included.

Optional overnight camping in the prairie will include a morning yoga class and breakfast on Sunday. Depart by 10 am. (be sure to add “camping” to your shopping cart)

Pricing:  $200 (all of Saturday’s events + meals included)

Retreat Faculty:


Maggie Taylor has been practicing yoga for more than half of her life and teaching since 2005. She sees yoga’s traditional practices as useful tools for healing and personal enrichment. She co-owns Delight Flower Farm and has been gardening since childhood.




Holly Monet Curia has a diverse passion for working with the land to provide life’s greatest pleasures. She has 4 years experience as a professional chef specializing in seasonal, vegetarian cooking. Holly is excited to integrate farm fresh foods for this event.  She co-owns Delight Flower Farm and loves spreading joy and serenity with plants and flowers.


Liz Faermark is a folk herbalist and a self-taught maker of plant medicines. She works with medicinal herbs and healing foods to inspire holistic health – mind, body and spirit. She walks the plant path by growing flowers, wildcrafting medicinal herbs, and creating herbal remedies.


The fine print: This retreat package is non-refundable and non-transferable. This event is rain or shine (mud can be therapeutic!) Dress for being outdoors and for potential of cooler weather.  Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included. Packing list suggestions will be sent to registrants.

Kitchari with Dosha Seasoning
traditional kitchari of basmati rice and mung beans, with optional add-on of personalized dosha spice blend and steamed seasonal, local vegetables
