Often associated with the parasympathetic nervous system, the actions of rest and digest are essential to optimal body function. If you’re resting and digesting, it means you’re pushing back against our culture’s cry to constantly DO MORE. This workshop will teach you tools to help support these essential processes. First, Maggie will lead students through yoga postures that can help calm the nervous system, and aid digestion. Then, Liz will give students a crash course in using herbs for digestive support. We’ll sample teas and bitters along the way!
Be sure to wear clothes you’re comfortable doing yoga in.
