Artist Residency

The one week Artist Residency is part of Delight’s goal of sharing the land and creating a space that helps artists connect with nature, nurture their own creativity, and move their dreams forward on a quiet, peaceful farm.

Applications for future residencies are not open at this time. Subscribe to our newsletter to learn about new opportunities.

About the Residency

The vibrant acreage of Delight Flower Farm, a locally woman-owned and operated cut-flower farm located in Central Illinois, provides and maintains space for a residential retreat for all creative talents. Visiting artists will have access to the provided accommodations in the tiny house and working studio space in the barn, both located on the farm’s property.

Nestled on the outskirts of Champaign, the farm is only a 15 minute drive from everything one might need from town: summer farmers markets, grocery stores, libraries, the local art supply house and more!

At Delight, we welcome creative artists, writers, researchers, and makers of all kinds. Selected applicants will have the opportunity to experience serenity, relaxation, and uninterrupted time while soaking up the gorgeous surroundings of our quaint, midwestern flower farm.

While in residence at Delight Flower Farm, we offer residents the opportunity to give a public reading, showing of works, workshop, lecture or appropriate venue for a performance.

Accepted creative mediums include (but not limited to): writing, music, visual art, performance, research, and academic professions.
