DIY Bulk Bucket: Subtle/Neutral
Our DIY Bulk Buckets allow for you to be creative when it comes to your special event. Create your own bud vases, bouquets, and arrangements with our organically-gown, local flowers! Read more about buckets & recipe suggestions here.
Each bucket contains 75 stems of seasonal blooms in blushes, whites, creams, and other pastels in a mix of larger focal flowers, secondary flowers, and smaller accent flowers. All flowers are processed and ready to be cut to your desired length and arranged.
Pickup for buckets will be your chosen date at noon (a Friday) from the farm. If you would like to pick up a different day of the week, please let us know by emailing us and including a note at checkout and we will see if we can accommodate.
There is a 4 bucket minimum per order, which can include either color palette and greenery or multiple of each.
Specific flowers in buckets will vary based on seasonality, supply, and farming conditions. You'll receive a beautiful mix of seasonal flowers and foliage harvested to order. Flower varieties are ultimately the farmer's choice based on what’s blooming come harvest day. But don’t worry, all of our selections are spectacular!
It is also helpful for us to know if you plan to use your flowers at an indoor or outdoor event. If you can note at checkout if your event is indoors or outdoors, that will help us to provide flowers that will retain quality in those conditions as best as possible.
There is a $100 per order non-refundable fee for bulk buckets that is included in your order total.
Tips for transporting and storing your buckets:
We recommend bringing boxes, towels, and/or blankets with you when you pick up your buckets. You want to make sure your buckets are secure in your vehicle--even if that means buckling them in a seatbelt! Boxes or towels around the bases can help prevent the buckets sliding around or tipping over.
Until you're ready to use your flowers, they should be kept indoors out of direct sunlight. Make sure the water in your buckets and future vessels is fresh, clean, and cool.
If your event is outdoors, keep your flowers cool and hydrated as long as you can before you decorate.
Buckets can be returned to our Farmstand or brought to the Urbana Farmers Market at the Square.
