Willow - Unrooted Cuttings (pre-order for pick-up)
This is a bundle of ten (10) unrooted willow cuttings for you to plant. These trees will grow lush green foliage in the summer before shedding their leaves and budding up in fall and winter. Harvest cuttings as decoration or to propagate! These make a great natural alternative to privacy hedges or fences.
Growing information: Plant height grows up to 6’ per year (mature height 35’+). Mature plant width is 5’ to 10’.
Place the bottom 6 to 8 inches of the cuttings in the soil. Willow cuttings root quite easily. The cuttings should begin to root and leaf out within a few weeks. An alternate rooting method is to place the cuttings in a container of water indoors.
